This is Gentle Vinyasa, a slow flow form of Traditional Hatha Yoga, ideal for beginners to intermediate students. When offered at night is conducive for relaxation & better sleep.
* Discover yogic breathing (pranayama), the therapeutic art of learning to slow down and control the breath.
* Explore various postures of the body (asanas) and learn sequential physical movements (vinyasas) which are synchronized to a slow breath for a dynamic and static practice.
* Lengthen your spine, calm your nervous system, slow down your body and breath to help slow down and focus your mind. Feel an increase to a circulating flow of the life force (prana).
* Enjoy deep relaxation and various contemplative and meditative practices.
Please bring your own mat, wear comfortable clothing, come with an empty stomach and an open heart to enjoy the yogic journey. You will need to be able to get down and back up from the floor for these classes.
