Are you ready for your creations to take flight? Campers will build and fly rebuildable, crash-friendly quadcopters, hexacopters and octocopters using LEGO Bricks and FlybrixTM drone kits. Campers will complete a course of flight simulator software in the lab before venturing out to open skies. Campers will also complete an online safety course that prepares drone operators for having fun while being safe and responsible with their flying gizmo. Topics covered include safety, local drone laws and regulations, and flight basics.
Note: Drone kits do not go home with students, but campers will be provided with online access to the flight simulator software and certification course, with a list of equipment and a discount code to purchase a Flybrix kit.
