WHAT IS KIDS CLUB? Kids Club is a large group, recreational after-school child care program for children who are enrolled in Dripping Springs ISD in grades PK-5. It is a tuition-based program held at each of the district's elementary campuses. Children can enjoy structured and supervised snack time, playtime, gym games, playground activities, and an occasional movie. It is a safe, familiar environment for the children, staffed with school employees.
WHAT ARE THE DAYS OF OPERATION? Kids Club operates each day school is in session except for early release days. We do not operate on school holidays. Hours of operation are from 3:05-6:00 pm. You may pick up your student(s) anytime between 3:30 - 6:00 pm. There will be a $2.00 per minute per student charge for late pick-up, which will be posted to the account and payable with the next month's tuition. Please pick your child(ren) up on time!
HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES IN MY CHILD'S SCHEDULE? If a change needs to be made in after-school activities, send a note to the homeroom teacher and follow up with a phone call to Kids Club, 512-858-3022, before noon. Please avoid frequent changes so your child will feel comfortable with their after-school plans.
WHAT ABOUT SNACKS? An after-school snack will be provided. Your student is welcome to bring their own snack also. * Be sure to inform the Community Services office if your child has a food allergy.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS? A non-refundable lottery registration fee of $50 is required to be considered for the lottery draft. If selected for Kids Club, the monthly tuition fee for Kids Club is $275. The first non-refundable monthly tuition payment must be paid on or before June 1, 2025 in order to secure your child's spot. Monthly payments of $275 begin September 1, 2025 and end May 1, 2026. The monthly payment along with any incurred fees, must be made via the Webstore. Cash/check will not be accepted. A $40 late payment fee will be applied to any account not paid in full by close of business the fifth business day of the month.
WHAT IF MY STUDENT IS NOT SELECTED? Students not selected in the lottery draw will remain in the lottery. Lottery selection will occur when a spot(s) becomes available at each campus.
Beginning October 1, 2024, a Software Admin Fee will be applied to all Webstore transactions. The fee of 4.38% will be automatically added at checkout. We want to extend this notice as a courtesy and appreciate your understanding as we make this adjustment.
